North Carolina Giving Contest Rules
Contest dates: The North Carolina Giving Contest begins Monday, November 9, 2009 and ends Monday, November 23, 2009.
How to enter: Each individual must correctly complete the contest question form as it is made available at www.ncgives.org/documentaries-contest. Entrants must follow the online or mail submission guidelines as they are outlined at www.ncgives.org/documentaries-contest. (The single exception is for individuals who enter through the Pick-Me-Up promotion.) Only one entry per individual will be accepted.
The deadline for entries is November 23, 2009.
Winners: After November 23, the NCGives staff will select two winners (one Grand Prize, one 2nd Prize) based on a random drawing. NCGives will contact the winners of the drawing via the information he/she provided. If any winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 10 days of being contacted, NCGives will randomly draw another name as the winner, and the original name drawn forfeits the prize.
Eligibility: Contest is open to North Carolina residents only. No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Liability: NCGives is not responsible for technical difficulties, which may prohibit the transmission of electronic submission of entries. NCGives is not responsible for late, lost, undeliverable email, or for publishing errors in the contest materials or these rules.
Consent: By submitting an entry, the entrant shall be deemed to have consented to the use of his/her name in any manner NCGives may determine, including the posting of the name of the winner on websites affiliated with NCGives.
By claiming the prize, the entrant understands the following: 1) He/she may be contacted by NCGives at a later date to find out how the prize was subsequently used; and 2) Winners who claim the "$100 donated to your charity of choice" prizes must designate a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to receive this donation directly from NCGives; no payments in any form will be made directly to the winner him/herself.
In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that NCGives may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
The prizes are not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
NCGives reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any entries deemed inappropriate or to disqualify any entry for failure to completely provide the information that is requested.
All decisions are made by the management of NCGives and are final. NCGives reserves the right to postpone or terminate the contest without prior notice.
